Interesting perspective, Sheila. Food for thought for sure. I think focussing on weaknesses, weakens the strengths we do have, brings them down and increases ineffectiveness all around. It is like being enthusiastic in a room full of unhappy people. One can only keep up the enthusaism so long before the energy around us depletes the enthusiasm for that we thrive on.

On forgiveness. Forgiveness released me from the emotional prison I lived in. I now have peace & harmony in my life. Forgiveness or detachment from person with love or outcomes in life allows me to live in the present moment. I follow three ideas: let go of the good opinion of other people, detach frm people, places, & things plus outcome. I don’t try to have power over other people only my own life. Forgiveness of self & other people have allowed me to let go of the past & unhealthy emotional relationships. I now only hang with people who are good for me emotionally & share their experience, strength, & hope on their own journey with safety & non-judgement.
